A Semi-Demi NoozFeed - March 7

Since the Baron is away I decided to post the Legal Project’s email items as a kind of mini-noozfeed; their format has been retained, including the subject lines.

Probably Da B’s normal procedure would be to incorporate these into his usual nightly newsfeed. However, running that thing requires a programmer’s skills; it’s sitting silent and unused on his computer until he returns.

In the old days, when daily news items were far fewer than they are now, he had a newsfeed program that even we normal people could learn to use. But as the amount of input continued to increase it was necessary to construct a pro job, one whose operation is far beyond my pay grade/skill level. I’ll stick to writing donor acknowledgments, thankyouverymuch.

The Legal Project describes their mission:

[to] work to protect the right in the West to freely discuss Islam, radical Islam, terrorism, and terrorist funding.
Here are the links from the Legal Project’s news for the previous week, formatted as they were on arrival. The headings are intriguing:

The following ten articles from the past week should be of particular interest. These clips focus on attempts by Islamists (i.e., radical Muslims) and their allies to shut down the debate about Islam-related topics (i.e., Islam, radical Islam, Islamist terrorism, and Islamist terrorist funding).

Hmm…that covers the listing of their emailed news. However, there is far, far more here. In fact, it was there that I found the link to Blazing Cat Fur’s video about the persecution of conservatives in Norway.

As happens in cyberspace, I went back to BCF later, to find even more good videos — though they both are probably NSFW. They definitely don't fit in with our PG-13 guidelines. Doesn't mean you can't watch 'em over there:

The first is from Sunny. You remember Funny Sunny, surely? She is one comedienne who routinely makes me fall out of my chair (not so good for fibromyalgia, but the laughter Sunny causes is a good cure — so what the heck, eh Archie?). Watch here for her take on the news — a few items in the American news anyway. Some viewers don’t get it; they don’t understand that this is a comedy routine. Oh well…sigh.

The second video on BCF is a riot — somewhat literally. [Where do they get these things?] It’s from Ukraine; some kind of public event, perhaps a talk show? At any rate, a member of parliament is attacked by a furious feminista, though it’s not apparent why. He calls her a name that Rush Limbaugh used recently and Blazing Cat Fur suggests a move to Ukraine for Rush. The comments give more context, but watch the video first.

Enjoy the news. Yeah, I miss the real thing, too.

Got it this time Dymphna AND I watched the Hijab one for good measure. Yes she is funny , and subtle, but didn't actually have me rolling on the floor. Different senses of humour perhaps?

I guess Hugo Chavez is in bad shape. What I think would be hysterical is if he came to the US for medical treatment.
